Yeah thats right futhamuckaz i said it. I dont think a tech rock album is a good idea!!!Now before some of u stans go off onna big ole "fuck you" fest
allow me to explain. The reasons covered in this weeks sermon will change the way some of you think and act forever and ever.(you know im joking right?)But anyway lemme hit you off with some of my irrefutable opinionated thoughts.Imma go slow so some of u potheads, e tards and dumbasses can comprehend(again Im only fuckin with you)!!!\

We as tech fans are all brought together on this site due to an artist that caught our attention through his craft (i.e. music) which= tech rapping
which =HIPHOP),am I right???The fact that 99% of tech's fans including
myself have come to know this man only by the music he makes(HIPHOP)
why should we wanna hear him make any other kind of music???I mean
he might be able to play the cello in his spare time but i dont wanna go see him perform as a member of an orchestra.I guess what i am trying to say is
"if it aint broke then dont fix it'.Im sure if he does decide to go through with this kabosh venture he will still be dropping bars but at the same time is he gonna try to sing too???And why???I think tech told us why in that interview
up on youtube, when he said he did a song with kmk or whoever it was and he said "the response was huge" with that being said it seems he is trying to appeal to a certain fanbase. And that is usually money motivated above all.Now dont get me wrong im not knocking the hustle or calling him a sell out.Shit its all about breaking bread and keeping your family fed and there aint nothing realer than that period. What im trying to say is that when somethiing like money motivates a person enough to change a steady and
sure footing to chase after a chance just to get more of what they allready have. like devoted fans, money itself and a the biggest following that an indie artist can possibly obtain in these unstable times things dont always seem to come from the heart and soul instead they tend to come from a desire to obtain more and more.Maybe thats the "clown dna" coming from tech or maybe Im wrong and it will turn out to be beautiful. But remember
a rock/rap album is nothin new.We have seen plenty of artists try this out like everlast, cypress hill shit even vanilla ice,and in my opinion they failed miserably.Maybe thats why b real came back to his roots and just dropped the best album of 09 so far(in my opinion). The thing that is similar about the artists i just mentioned is that they all tried the rock shit at a time in their
career when they were struggling in the rap game.I just dont see tech struggling so why even go there???Do you think he really has rock running through his veins like he does hiphop or is he simply just a fan???I think
he emulates hiphop in its truest most purest form and just likes certain rock or metal groups as a fan.But then again i could be wrong but if im right
I would much rather hear the epitome of hiphop rap his ass off than a fan of rock rocking out to get money. So call me selfish, stingy or what ever the fuck but keep making the music that we have grown to know and love.

sincerely DUKECITYSPECIALIST

^^^ i do like riotmaker and heartbreaker......if its songs like that then cool......but where have you guys been told that thats kaboosh shit and not some beat witha guitar in it.....if its songs like little pills that still sound like rock then it aint for me. but the other songs are rap songs......all im sayin is ima download it and give it a try, but if it sucks ima lose mad fucking respect
with any good artist comes musical evolution, never stop moving forward, whether its evolving for his fan base or what he truly feels. he as in himself will never change but why not try something different "little pills" and "premium" are two of my fav songs. I think the kobosh LP will be dope as hell. But tech will always stay true to himself and his fans so kobosh it son LOL!!
@ ociris like I said I only know tech n9ne from the music he drops you got that
Right but what does he do on 100% of his tracks ??he raps he does use guitar riffs
And other rock influenced beats for some of his tracks but at the end of the day whether
Some of us like to admit it or not he is a hiphop artist and that's what he does best
But like I said before I'm not too worried when I look at the material he has lined
Up for this year its obvious something other than kabosh has his attn at this time
And for that I'm thankful but on another note I've been listening since gangrelated
Dropped and don't consider myself a new fan that's part of the reason I don't really
Understand this whole rock venture again he has rock influenced tracks he raps over
But I still go to the rap section of the record store to find his albums and I hope it stays
That way
I can't believe no one has said this yet but, if you arent down then don't buy it....simple huh. I talked to Krizz last year and he they were gonna record Kabosh this month (march '09)
Hed pe, primer 55, critical bill, slipknot, mudvayne (under my skin) and system of a down to name a few have all infused hip hop with rock and they are all very successful bands, and everlast's rock/rap album pretty much made his career didnt it? well that one song did, i dont know. Also cypress hill had mad success with skull & bones. I think with techs percussion style of rap, krizz doin his thing and you know prozak is gonna make an appearance n throw down some pdm shit.. It will make an interesting and awesome rock/rap album....
i agree 100000% with you tyler
duke your a dumbass for thinkin its bad

Enough said

To classify tech as just a hip hop artist is just too plain
he covers so many different genre's because he is the
most versatile rapper this kabosh project is going to
have krizz kaliko the singer
and tech the poet
and rob rebeck rockin out an his guitar

and for the um-teenth it's not Koobosh and it's not Kobosh
it's

to quote you northwest "versatile rapper" not rocker
what the fuck are you getting at duke... yeah hes gonna "rap" on a rock album.. its not like hes gonna go full rocker and just start screaming in the mic the whole album... its probably comin out after K.O.D and your gonna be eatin your own ass on this one, kabosh is gonna be the fuckin shit and your gonna love it...
i honestly hope ur right cody i hope it is a good album we will all get our chance to see
but if it isnt i dont expect much ppl on this site to admit that shit but thats an entirely diff discussion
but best believe that whatever they do come up with its not only going to be tech's musical insight put on those tracks
so i think we all really dont know what to expect but ppl just wont admit that shit remember this is going to be a whole new experience for tech hes going to have to work with multiple egos so who knows what will happen but its obvious i struck a nerve with a lot of ppl in here so be ready for the next discussion oh yeah and a side note to consider- having a successful album doesnt mean that the album is actually good in a lot of cases i mean soulja boy is doing well but i dont bump his shit
and when talking about cypress hill and house of pain nothing comes close to thier first 2 albums that they released but then again to each's own i guess
