Yeah thats right futhamuckaz i said it. I dont think a tech rock album is a good idea!!!Now before some of u stans go off onna big ole "fuck you" fest
allow me to explain. The reasons covered in this weeks sermon will change the way some of you think and act forever and ever.(you know im joking right?)But anyway lemme hit you off with some of my irrefutable opinionated thoughts.Imma go slow so some of u potheads, e tards and dumbasses can comprehend(again Im only fuckin with you)!!!\

We as tech fans are all brought together on this site due to an artist that caught our attention through his craft (i.e. music) which= tech rapping
which =HIPHOP),am I right???The fact that 99% of tech's fans including
myself have come to know this man only by the music he makes(HIPHOP)
why should we wanna hear him make any other kind of music???I mean
he might be able to play the cello in his spare time but i dont wanna go see him perform as a member of an orchestra.I guess what i am trying to say is
"if it aint broke then dont fix it'.Im sure if he does decide to go through with this kabosh venture he will still be dropping bars but at the same time is he gonna try to sing too???And why???I think tech told us why in that interview
up on youtube, when he said he did a song with kmk or whoever it was and he said "the response was huge" with that being said it seems he is trying to appeal to a certain fanbase. And that is usually money motivated above all.Now dont get me wrong im not knocking the hustle or calling him a sell out.Shit its all about breaking bread and keeping your family fed and there aint nothing realer than that period. What im trying to say is that when somethiing like money motivates a person enough to change a steady and
sure footing to chase after a chance just to get more of what they allready have. like devoted fans, money itself and a the biggest following that an indie artist can possibly obtain in these unstable times things dont always seem to come from the heart and soul instead they tend to come from a desire to obtain more and more.Maybe thats the "clown dna" coming from tech or maybe Im wrong and it will turn out to be beautiful. But remember
a rock/rap album is nothin new.We have seen plenty of artists try this out like everlast, cypress hill shit even vanilla ice,and in my opinion they failed miserably.Maybe thats why b real came back to his roots and just dropped the best album of 09 so far(in my opinion). The thing that is similar about the artists i just mentioned is that they all tried the rock shit at a time in their
career when they were struggling in the rap game.I just dont see tech struggling so why even go there???Do you think he really has rock running through his veins like he does hiphop or is he simply just a fan???I think
he emulates hiphop in its truest most purest form and just likes certain rock or metal groups as a fan.But then again i could be wrong but if im right
I would much rather hear the epitome of hiphop rap his ass off than a fan of rock rocking out to get money. So call me selfish, stingy or what ever the fuck but keep making the music that we have grown to know and love.

sincerely DUKECITYSPECIALIST

Tech isnt following anybody! Tech has been doin the rock/rap thing for a long time...its just a shame that rappers like Lil Wayne have the mainstream publicity to make it "mainstream". But yea a Kabosh album i think would be SICK! Has there been a rock infused song by tech that been bad?!....uh no
Kabosh is coming out this year Oct 19th and the Ollie Gates Mixed Plate July 27
Im not in a state to write a long thought out post, but, on the other artists failing to do rap/rock... most of them wernt talented rappers in the first place and/or show little talent from a rock aspect wheras i can see Krizz an Tech showing talent as Kabosh, so im still looking forward to Kabosh and juss think back to when you first heard Get Off from Genius, Tech might juss suprise you.
Dude Tech does some rock/ghetto metal shit already. why would u oppose him doing more of it? and u never know it could become an amazing thing just like the rest of his music
Right, i mean, yall had to have heard Anghellic! Can't tell me there's no rock influence in there, and look what Anghellic is now. One of the greatest albums of all time!

OMG at these walls of text being posted.

Didn't read it lol

Mad Tech fans are metalheads/into rock or other kinds of music.

Tech has always used rock-inspired beats/musical influences in his music.

Tech is not WEEZY, I'm sure if he does a rock CD it will be on point, not include auto-tune and nothing like the mainstream.

But I will add Tech to the list... Cage, Weezy, Tech N9ne...

Hardcore, SICK hip hop from the home of The Wire Baltimore, MD THE ESSENCE @ http://www.zshare.net/download/70672634a574b6e4/ - See if it reminds you of someone else...
Thats what I'M SAYIN! :D

Tech's always had a rock influence to his music, and he always does different shit-Krizz's vocals have been on point on a lot of types of songs as well. I don't think every artist can do a rock album(I haven't heard anything from Lil' Wayne's rock shit that's impressed me), but I'd actually be interested to hear Tech and Krizz do their thing. It's not like he's going to give up hip-hop as an art form, and Tech's sound encompasses a lot of different styles. You also mentioned Everlast-you DO remember that "Whitey Ford Sings The Blues" sold about 3 million units, right?
i do not approve of this thread
now THAT'S a point, I wish Tech that luck cause I remember not even knowing who Everlast WAS until that "What Its Like" shit came out

see im excited for this album, does anyone remember the song "little pills" on everyready disc 2? that song is amazing.
all im saying is tech and everyone on strange has talent in making music that i couldent touch myself, or see anyone else touch.
its simple.
tech n9ne and krizz kaliko in a rock group would be nasty. with kalikos ability to sing, and tech can sing also, and putting those two together in a rock group just shows that those two are even more talented then we all thought.
if you can bring 10 years of nasty shit, and still bring out amazing music on different styles, it just proves that people really can fuck with anyone on the strange music lable.
like kutt calhouns new cd "raw and unkutt" is gonna be nasty just because... like everyone else on strange music, gets bettter and better with every album they put out.
so for them to have 10 years of musical geniusness come out onto there albums, then being it together for one album, its basically gonna be a collab album but with them honestly ripping a new hole into the rock area of things.

kabosh isent a set group, and its been said that its a one or two album thing.
which also. i want to say something about this.
if tech does do it for money, and fan shit, fuck it! let the man make his money, if you've watched T9X or any type of movie bassed on tech n9nes background, then you will know that anything this man gets he fuckin diserves it.
hes gotten shit on to many times, and then he started the best record lable "strange music" for people like us to fuckin rock out his shit, and love anything that came off it. so why not support a man that gave us one of the greatest things in our musical life?
but plane and simple, i understand what you are saying, i really do... but the fact remands, tech and krizz are gonna kill any type of music they start.
and kabosh is gonna be good, might even be great. so until the album drops in july... lets all just chill out and not judge something we havent herd except for the song "little pills" which probably wont even show up on the album
Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko make beautiful music together nomatter wut genure it is. People are afraid to hear anything different, if its not hiphop, or if its not classic, its not good. I know thats not everyone, but enough people. U see, I live in Rhode Island, People around here who arent friends with me, would never check out tech n9ne if u paid them. There either too souped on another artist, or just not into rap @ all. Which leads me to my next point. For all the rock fans, who dont think tech is suitable for their liking, It may open there eyes to see the man is talented and doesnt need a rap beat to go hard, he can go hard on anything an with krizz kaliko on every song???? This is gonna be fucking amazing. Im not a rock fan, but I love their rock songs. I think alot of people would agree if they give them a chance.
