Yeah thats right futhamuckaz i said it. I dont think a tech rock album is a good idea!!!Now before some of u stans go off onna big ole "fuck you" fest
allow me to explain. The reasons covered in this weeks sermon will change the way some of you think and act forever and ever.(you know im joking right?)But anyway lemme hit you off with some of my irrefutable opinionated thoughts.Imma go slow so some of u potheads, e tards and dumbasses can comprehend(again Im only fuckin with you)!!!\

We as tech fans are all brought together on this site due to an artist that caught our attention through his craft (i.e. music) which= tech rapping
which =HIPHOP),am I right???The fact that 99% of tech's fans including
myself have come to know this man only by the music he makes(HIPHOP)
why should we wanna hear him make any other kind of music???I mean
he might be able to play the cello in his spare time but i dont wanna go see him perform as a member of an orchestra.I guess what i am trying to say is
"if it aint broke then dont fix it'.Im sure if he does decide to go through with this kabosh venture he will still be dropping bars but at the same time is he gonna try to sing too???And why???I think tech told us why in that interview
up on youtube, when he said he did a song with kmk or whoever it was and he said "the response was huge" with that being said it seems he is trying to appeal to a certain fanbase. And that is usually money motivated above all.Now dont get me wrong im not knocking the hustle or calling him a sell out.Shit its all about breaking bread and keeping your family fed and there aint nothing realer than that period. What im trying to say is that when somethiing like money motivates a person enough to change a steady and
sure footing to chase after a chance just to get more of what they allready have. like devoted fans, money itself and a the biggest following that an indie artist can possibly obtain in these unstable times things dont always seem to come from the heart and soul instead they tend to come from a desire to obtain more and more.Maybe thats the "clown dna" coming from tech or maybe Im wrong and it will turn out to be beautiful. But remember
a rock/rap album is nothin new.We have seen plenty of artists try this out like everlast, cypress hill shit even vanilla ice,and in my opinion they failed miserably.Maybe thats why b real came back to his roots and just dropped the best album of 09 so far(in my opinion). The thing that is similar about the artists i just mentioned is that they all tried the rock shit at a time in their
career when they were struggling in the rap game.I just dont see tech struggling so why even go there???Do you think he really has rock running through his veins like he does hiphop or is he simply just a fan???I think
he emulates hiphop in its truest most purest form and just likes certain rock or metal groups as a fan.But then again i could be wrong but if im right
I would much rather hear the epitome of hiphop rap his ass off than a fan of rock rocking out to get money. So call me selfish, stingy or what ever the fuck but keep making the music that we have grown to know and love.

sincerely DUKECITYSPECIALIST

I understand what some of you are saying and you do make valid points but at the same time there are two sides of the coin
i mean yeah tech has put out material that has had guitar riffs and such but it is what it is just a beat with synth sounds like 808 kicks high hats with a guitar sample. Theres a stark difference between a true rock produced track and a guitar sample
Plus I would be leery if tech decided to try something new if he simply said"I THINK i can do this" and an album based on the words "i think i can" is much different than "i know i can"
Right now at the height of techs career and the direction that it is going in, a move like this kabosh venture would just slow down his momentum(again only an opinion). So what kind of direction is tech going in you might ask yourself??Listen to "a message to the black man","this is me" and" last words".Especially the line"i aint changing my identity for energy from anybody thats obscenity" Hes about to write another page in history due to the fact that and indie label just might break their way into the mainstream.Shit hes allready been featured at the top of billboard with this last album which is a fuckin monster step for an indie label to take.Just imagine a label like strange getting enough money to take the radio stations and turn them upside down.
Wouldnt it be a beautiful thing if one day good music was played consistently on the radio instead of a lot of the shit we have today infecting the airwaves???When an indie label thrives like a major label does it opens the door for new sounds and artists
to put out the music that they love making . Not what the owners of record companies and clear channel shove down out throats
but music that comes from the heart. Now im not sayin tech wouldnt try with all his heart and soul to put out a quality album whit what ever band im just saying it would steer away from what is going on right now.HISTORY IN THE MAKING.!!!!! I just dont see that happening if he decides to stop and work on an entire new formula. When i hear songs like shit is real and i am everything i see tech reaching too far. His verses are dope but the rest of the songs fall short of being good or great.Plus i expect the "good" or "great "from tech's music thats why hes my favorite artist. Honestly though Im beginning to become less and less worried by the minute since he his dropping two albums this year and no kabosh.
Well since he is dropping two albums this year I think next year he will drop Kabosh to change it up and so it would be something different.
When I think KABOSH, I think of double bass drum MADNESS!!!

I hope it's not mellow radio rock...
i think it depends on how well these two albums do and if they do good i think it will motivate him more to keep dropping rap tunes

I get you point but of course the albums are going to do good and he doesn't need any motivation. It's Tech N9ne!!! He would be like this shit is way to easy I need to take on Rock and do some Kabosh.

tech has always loved rock and put it in every cd
i don't think he's goin into this project with intentions to "change"
you seriously don't like "little pills" an "no more me and you"
cuz i really think thats what kabosh is gonna be like
wit the a more upbeat beginning and songs like these two in the end

but the homie rob rebeck
you know the producer of shit like "imma playa"
well he makes his own rock music wit his own gutair
just as brian "bezzle" dennis (RIP) did. they don't use comp. synthesized guitar riffs
and like i said before i'm sure krizz kaliko is gonna be doin the singin and tech will stick to the rappin'

i agree witchu.......i dont like the idea of kaboosh..............i hate rock music it gives me a fucking head ache everytime i try listen to it......i dont want my favorite rapper doing it......tech should be focusing on what he is good at.....he should try and make better rap songs.....try and top himself......little pills was fucking annoying.....shit is real is aight, and i liked no more me and you but that last one wasnt kaboosh. if tech wants to do a collab wit slip knot or system of a down then fine....but a whole fucking rock album, nope aint gettin my money
yeah i agree i dont mind at all if tech does a collab with slipknot i actually like that idea but not an entire album
it would be hard to stay consistent on that album and put out nothing but quality tracks.
thats not going to happen if its something "new "that hes trying.
im not a person thats going to make myself like everything he puts out because i dont
and this seems like one of those things that as a fan i truly can see hurting his career or delaying his rise to the top
the fact is that no one knows how this wiil turn out and to sit here and say "i know it willl be dope" is just as rediculous as me saying "i know its gonna suck" but thinking about this realistically and looking at all the factors involved i can stand by my reasons for saying that i still dont think this is a good idea

kaboosh
it's kabosh "killing Americas beliefs on societies hood"
man i feel like i'm beating a dead fucking horse
so this is the last time i'll try an open ya'r mind

tech is very influenced by rock music it's what he mostly listen's too "SOAD &Slipknot"
it has always been a part of his CD's and his show
so your tellin me you don't like "tormented" "riot maker" "anxiety" "heart breaker"
cuz i do
but it's koo if ya don't wanna like it but it suck that you don't like all levels and layers of tech
and there is alot O' an "No more me an you" is a kabosh joint and i love the solo rebeck does in the middle

i've only read a copule post on this topic, so what i say, someone else might have said.,.. one of the things i read is that we all like tech because of his hip hop ..... yet, when i went to his first concert and he dropped "187 on da hook" half of the crowd thought it was a new song. No offense.... but I'm a LONG TIME tech n9ne fan.... i'm thankful that the juggalo's started to follow tech n9ne after the wicket wonka tour, but some of you newer fans misinterpet what tech has always been about. So when i read some of you say "tech should stay hip hop and not do rock" it makes me wonder what you guys really know about tech............. "It's alive" .... "Absolute Power" ..... "Planet Rock" .. this is Kabosh material.... or is that not rock to you guys ? I don't wanna seem like i'm talking shit... but tech has been doing rock songs all his career.... i bet those people that said he shouldnt make kabosh love listening to those songs, "shit is real".... "little pills" etc.

... sorry, just venting :)

Tech N9ne Speaks On R.A. The Rugged Man, ‘Holla-Loo-Yuh’, Not Giving A F*ck [VIDEO]

When it comes to emcees other than Tech N9ne that are quick-spitting, hyper-intricate, and actually have something to say, it’s pretty much impossible to leave R.A.
