Okay to some of you this is going to sound really fucking pathetic, but some people might understand where I'm coming from.

So I've been a tech/strange music fan for many years and yesterday I listened to that jokerr diss track. I wanted to say he sucks and all that, but the third verse amused me so I went to check out some of his other music, and I love most of it.

The worst thing is, I hate the guy and everything about him as a person, but I love his music. Now this part , as I said, might sound really lame to some people, but hip-hop / strange music is one of the few things in life I'm passionate about, and I almost feel guilty for listening to jokerr. Feels like I'm letting down a label i've spent so long supporting.

To make this thread less weird, I will also add discussion by asking if anyone else has ever been in this kind of situation? Even just hearing a song and liking it, then realizing after that it's an artist you hate. Kinda sucks.

What is interesting about this post is the idea that is being question here: Loyalty. People are loyal for many reason and feel that any deviance from loyal behavior makes them "bad people".  In societly, we seem to love and hate people for things that have no apparent bearing on our lives what so ever.  You see this everywhere, and is somethings that I don't really understand and really cant stand.  For example, people HATE Lebron.  Why? The reason we should like Lebron is that he is an elite basketball player the like of which only come around with great rarity.  Instead, people say they hate him for any number of reason...he chokes, he has no titles and on and on.  The real reason people hate him is because when he came into the league and through his tenure in Cleveland, people became loyal to what they thought he was, some guy who is "loyal". When he made the "Decision", he showed he wasn't loyal to Cleveland, that he was a "bad person" and therefor violated your trust is him.  This makes no sense to me. Who gives a fuck what kinda guy he is? You don't know him and he's not your friend.  Same story with Tiger Woods.  The music industry is the same, which brings me to the post.  We all like to say that we know Tech, that he is personable and a genuinely good guy, this is one of the multiple cited reasons for being a technician and a major part of his success.  Im not saying that he isnt all of those things, but most of us dont know him and arent friends with him.  The real reason we love him is that he, along with his many cohorts(Kali, Kutty, Scoob, ect.), make an amazing brand of music and a lot of it.  In the end it is about his product, and the same can be said for this joker dude (who is have never heard one time, diss tracks or otherwise).  If you like his music, his product, then your "loyaly" to Tech should have absolutely now bearing.  Take it for what it is truly worth, it being Lebron, Tech, Tiger, Obama or Barry Bonds, not what you think loyalty is or means, or what the media says about them.  Im just saying see the whole picture and make your own decisions, I think shit would be a lot better.

Shit that was a lot.  Sorry Ya'll, I smoked a little sumthin' and, well, you know how it is.
