He's been doing a lot of collabs lately, probably working on solo stuff too.

1. It's not random of Busta at all to sign with Cash Money. He's been in "ka-hoots" with Birdman, Wayne, and the rest of the crew for some time. I'm sure they don't BBQ together on the weekends, but they've worked together quite a few times.

2. Saying Busta is "better than that" is retarded, and so is losing respect for him because he signed to Cash Money. Cash Money is on top of shit right now in mainstream hip-hop. Whether you like the music or not, they hustle hard and have three of the biggest hip-hop acts. Wayne - Rap. Drake - RnB/Rap. Nicki Minaj - Pop/Rap. They're the biggest label in the game right now, smart move by Busta.

3. I wouldn't say he "needed money". Busta has been around for decades. I'm sure he's comfortable. And I know he isn't always the most relevant rapper in the game, but every few years he comes back and makes a few hits. He came back with a bunch of dope guest appearances, and he's got a good buzz goin' again. He's gettin' on in his age and probably wants to put out one more dope album while he's making noise. His last big gig was with Aftermath, and that didn't pan out. Right now Cash Money probably has the best offer. He'll get a good cut, he knows his album will be in stores across the country, and despite having the three biggest names on the sub-label, Cash Money has more than enough resources to make sure that his shit gets promoted properly. Shit, being on such a label Busta doesn't even need promotion; people will just know.

4. It's not like Busta's new album is gonna have every shitty Young Money artist on his album. He's a legend in his own right, the guests on the album will be by his choice. You know he'll have Wayne on it. If Drake or Nicki end up on it, it's because he wants them on there and now has easier access due to his signing.
