Nope, it was the one guy from Sweden and the two guys from the Netherlands that derailed it. Up until then it was a very nice, appreciative thread.

The thing people don't understand is that these countries (or large groups within them) ask the U.S. for help, because we're such a military power. And yes, if its something we believe in, or we have something to gain, then we'll do so. When we do, we'll be publicly criticized by this ever-expanding anti-American movement that loves to portray all of America as greedy pigs, yet we continue to try to help anyway, because that's just what we do.

I'm not saying the government is completely filled with saints, but you can't tell me that it's completely filled with selfish, evil men. Yes, there's corruption. And yes, there's also good intention.

To you retarded foreign fucks who are bashing out military service men and women. Sorry that in 200 years, our country has become far more, successful, developed, and advanced than any other country that has been around much longer than 200 years. Yes, pretty much every war we have started, or joined into since world war 2 has been complete bullshit. But think about the world you might live in (especially over there in Sweden and the Netherlands you dumb fucks) If AMERICA, had not intervened in World War II, helped to overpower nazi Germany, bombed Japan out of their fucking boots, and helped the Allied forces prevail over Germany, Japan, and Italy amongst a few other small countries. And I'm not saying Americans are BETTER than the people of any other country, but the American spirit, determination, perseverance has been far greater than any other countries. That is why we have been the worlds most powerful nation, and why we are looked up to/ hated on/ have all other countries look upon us with jealousy. And our MILITARY have preserved that greatness. Almost ALL soldiers join the armed forces with the intentions of protecting Americas FREEDOM and SAFETY. What happens after that, in terms or innocents being killed, is not their personal choice. And you need to remember that A LOT of the time when there are wrongful killings, that the soldiers are lied to, mislead, partially brainwashed, or given false info.

 

Thank you so much to all who have served this great country, and even though its looking like it is probably impossible for America to be on top for another 200 years, you will never be able to say that your country was on top for even 1 day, so go ahead and keep hating. We have a corrupt evil government, and our system is totally fucked up and designed to keep people in the dark from what is really going on, but we the people, are still the same Americans that made this country the greatest.

You sir, are oblivious. Yes, the countires we go into need help. Do they ask us? No. We make it like our goal is "We're gonna go in to (insert one of the over 50 countries we have done this to, as i stated above) and iberate the people" We go in, over throw their gov, set up a puppet "Democracy" that fails with in a few years, and steal all of their natural resources and equities. Which does indeed make us the "greedy American pigs" they potray us as. And to anyone whos gonna give me the "oh what a great American you are" bullshit, fuck off. I love this country. I dispise every hypocritical, greedy, power hungry poltician that runs America.

Or maybe we could have prevented much of Nazi Germany if we wouldn't have funded the Third Reich? And it's not in many of the nations history to be poor and unsuccessful.. The last fuckin 2000 years these countires were rich lands full of kowledge and wisdom, but maybe not the last 200. Who do you think fucked most of them up? By gollie couldn't have been America. And yes, I am bashing the fuck out of our country's over consuming, hypocritical, greedy, grimmy ass ways. But I have mad respect to anyone who has been in, or is in, the service.

@ hussein check it guy im an infantryman whos been to iraq n bout to go to afganistan. what would u do to come home? would u kill or b killed n not come home?  i don kno bout u but i dont have any friends over there i give a fuck about i jus got a job to do.  it has been proven threw the whole war men women and kids have all espired to kill americans ok maybe not the kids intentionally but everybody else knew wut the fuck they were doing.  and ill b damned if my fam wont ever see me again cuz some stupid little kid or dumbass woman over there tries to kill me there fuckin dead i dont give a fuck.  granted whith all of this in america im a real man would never heard a woman or child but over there its kill or b killed n i aint dyin yet ya feel me?!?!?!
