Personally i think this was Kali's year. Kod was good, but alot of it was just to spite the industry. I like that it wasn't very hit oriented, but at the same time, it didn't really have a high point. Kali's album was exciting throughout, easily accessable. Plus, I'm glad to see kaliko with his own stories for once and not being a hype-man. What do you think?

both albums are amazing, but i'll go with KOD.
i would say genius is the best album this year, kod is a good album but far from the best in my opinion
It's hard for me to believe that anyone who is into all of stranges shit would dislike Krizz Kaliko. First of all that kats hooks are all dope, he has developed a ridiculous flow when he is rapping, and his singing voice is the shit. I don't know if I have ever seen somebody with so much versatility in what they can do with their voice. Let's look at stranges main line up: Tech, Kali, Kutt, Scoob, Lynch, Prozak. All different all dope as fuck. Kali and Kutt are tied for second most talented out of that lineup IMO
Yes, I did.

did you even pick up genius?

If I have to pick between those two?
K.O.D.

If I don't?
Neither. K.O.D. hasn't stood the test of time to be album of the year, yet. Don't get me wrong, they're both releases, but for an Album to be Album of the year, to me, I have to be able to not be tired of it after a few months of listening, at least.
Tech has some OKAY songs becuase Tech isn't a fucking perfect rapper. No one will make an entire discography of classic songs. Don't blame Krizz because Tech N9ne doesn't have a perfect songs 100% of the time.

This thread makes me mad. The main reason Tech has any ok songs is because of that fat fuck. Some shit is ok but every Tech song would be AMAZING if he was out of strange. I dont know about you all but if I wanted to listen to a singing dude I would listen to Usher because Kali can sing but his voice is gay as fuck, so he is not even the best at what he does.
I am offended at the question to be honest. Thats like saying who would win my high school basketball team or the Lakers. There not even in the same league, and shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence.
i agree with you.. if u want repeated crappy written pop hooks then kalis album is for you.. sickology sucked.. i like about 4 songs on it.. to me it was the worst tech n9ne record... K.O.D. blew it out the water

I am shocked to see people picking Genius and especially Sickology over K.O.D.

K.O.D.>>>>>>>>Genius>Sickology

K.O.D. was genius.
What about monsterifik??? But the album of the yr for me is Slaughterhouse the shit was hella lyrical, but if I had 2 pick between them 2 it will b K.O.D.
I liked monsterifik, but if it was anyones album of the year then they didn't listen to enough albums in 2009

Nah I meant in Sickology. I know it's a colabo album and shit, but I jus like hearin more bars from Tech. Like his actual albums. KOD in particular.

mattso fattso said:
So are you sayin there wasn't enough bars for tech in kod?

Techn9cian4life said:
I far from agree with that. Sickology is a dope album no doubt, but the concept behind KOD is just ridiculous. I like when Tech is tellin a story through out the entire album, not jus when he has 14-16 bars in each song, then moves on to the next track.

Agree with TechNician.. Sickology 101 was better...
I say that they all sucked. You want sum real muzic listen to that william hung cat he brings the dope ish
there no such thing, both albums are both insane in different ways, either then better they are both wicked
K.O.D hands down but there both good... and yes I picked up both
