its not just you. i agree. though ive liked his newer shit. do i like it better? i dunno. its hard to tell, because not only was music different at that time but i was also a lot younger. my taste has changed. and i think thats what everyone forgets. adam levine or not, the chorus doesn't make the versus suck, but in no way is it possible to please everyone. em's verse and all his new stuff is a whole different type of writing. incomparable, and im sure he could still do another marshall mathers lp, but y when its been done? ppl would bitch if he did it even if its what they wanted. another reason im not gonna shit on the song, is because for a 50 cent song, it isn't half as bad as i expected it. initially i skipped his verse lol. went back tho and its not amazing, but its something for him. and thats probably his marketing plan but whatever. over all, everyone just likes to bitch, IMO. 99% of the time i go to argue people on their shit, but decide not to because there's no point. everyone is entitled to their opinion, and with music being flooded with mainly average artists, we're only gonna hear people bitching anyways.

As for Em, this wasn't a bad verse at all imo. It's a LOT better than the shit did with Skylar Grey, Rihanna and Obie Trice in the past year. but i guess that's just me =/

I like Adam Levine, he has a unique voice, but it definitely doesn't stand out in this song, in fact everything about this song sounds forced and unnatural. Then again it is a 50 song.

I don't like it but out of respect for Em and how big an influence he was on me as a teenager I'll refrain from whining about it.
