well i cant change the worlds thoughts but i believe in god but religion is hard for me due to not knowin what the real true straigt forward religion was or is.... u know.

i feel that if there is religion, the 'God' kinda respects diversities and cultures, and even encourages them, and so allows different versions of themself to be worshipped and if thats not the case i dnt think hed discriminate, coz tbh whts a better person a christian who cheats and steals or an atheist who lives his life practicly by religions rules juss without a god in mind

I find it hard to think there is no God. Becuase if your saying that then your saying that you arent here for anyreason.Just to live then die(and what happens when you die?)I mean Im not religous or i dont follow a religion becuase all you are doing is following the views of the writer of the book. But i do think there is reason for our existance. If its that Earth is a reality tv show (southpark), or we are here to evovle and get smart enough to answer the question to life(Hichhikers guide to the galaxy) or live in a fake world to be batteries for Robots(matrix) ..and I think all those reasons are just as viable as any religious belief.
(Im not saying like christian's beliefs are wrong, Im just saying I chose to keep my mind open and not believe only 1 answer).. BUt in all of those there is a god. wether it is Jesus, Alien tv directors, A computer, Robots. I mean you can believe in what ever you want (wich i think is great) but just dont deside THERE IS NO GOD! try to keep your mind open. Maybe 99% of you thinks there is no god, but alteast keep that 1% open to different ideas.

And I think you guys are being single minded. Why does "God" have to be Jesus, or Allah or what ever the religions believe in? Only thing God has to be is some kindof of all powerful being *or not* that in some way or form is watching us, created our world...or w/e. God could be Sharkmonkey Icecream-pooping Aliens watching us from pluto....

way to read my post i never said christianity is the one true religion, i used God for familiartiies sake and put it in apostraphes to mark that point, i get wht ur saying, but im starting to feel that life is just that life, nothing after nothing before, you live you die, your nutrients/minerals w/e get put back in the ground and bam your back to nothing, i feel its just a cycle everything just lives then dies

Damn straight. Plus whose to say we arent gettin an edited version of the bible if its true to begin with. I mean the church was the only people that could actually read it for ages cuz it was in latin. Whos to say they disdnt change stuff to make them happy

aand the fact that through history in a lot of countries the peoplein charge always listened to the church and so did the people, so who says the leaders of the country didnt edit the bible to sway the masses, the most obvious change probably being henry VIII creating the church of england to allow for divorce
