Well this discussion is hilarious lol!!! Im kinda torn about whether Tech should stay underground or not. I kno eventually its gonna happen. Wouldnt it be awesome tho to turn on the tv and see Tech instead of Eminem or Lil Wayne n shit. Id luv it I saw the video for Like Yeah on MTV Hits like a month ago. Honestly I was shocked! Havent seen anything since then but if they will play 1 video then eventually they will play any video. As long as it doesnt change his music too much it doesnt matter to me. I think the world should kno Techs music.
Well it's not really the industry persay. It's the people running the industry that won't play him. Tech would love to get on MTV or BET because he wants his shit to be world wide. 'This is a strange year, world wide fame is near...' The only reason I would oppose to tech n9ne gaining more fans and having world wide credibility is if he changed his music drastically to where it did not even sound like him.
wtf isnt this the myspace thread lol. and no if tech got mainstream success i wouldnt be like oh no go back to the underground
lol why? because more people like him? that's like changing your favorite football team because they win the superbowl.

I've said it before and yet I'll have to say it once a agian.

To all these mother fucking people crying because they don't like the way Tech's doing this or that. If you're a fan you will be loyal and support your artist regardless. It gets boring when someone pushes the same music, album after album, time after time. You have to change it up and try new things. People grow after time in all aspects, thats what makes you a true artist.

Who gives a fuck if Tech is going mainstream. The man deserves recognition from these simple minded narrow people. Tech N9ne is for the people. Getting it exposed to the rest of the world. The reason why he said “Fuck the industry” . He was talking about the people who run the machine, the machine that dictates what’s on TV and radio. It's because the industry wont take chances with new music. Tech’s music is supposed to be for everybody. When they mention mainstream why would that be such a bad thing? Tech is a real mother fucker. What would the mainstream be with pure, raw talent as Tech N9ne?
