Tell me about the time you first time you ever heard Tech's music. All the details, Where you were at the time, what your thoughts were, what song it was, things like that. For me it was a couple years ago, I was driving around and my friend in the passenger seat is playing is his mix cd, and it comes to the song Einstein, and my mind was blown away, I had never heard nothing like this in my life. I looked at my friend and said "Who is this?" lol and with a big ass smile he said TECH N9NE. So I looked him up, and realized he was alot more original then I thought, the red spiked hair, painted face, bishop's robe. Never had i seen anyone with so much creativity in my life.

First time i heard tech, i was about in 6/7th grade and my cousin and i had got done shopping and he had brought some cds over to my house. He happend to have absolute power and i heard "imma tell" at the time i just thougth it was cool and just listenede to the song alot but then I discovered more cds and i just fell in love! I also researched and saw him and started investing in his cds and his music just gots a hold on me! lol listen to it 24/7...im 18 now been to as many shows as he has! cant wait to meet him in Denver!! 303 baby!!!!
I had let my boy borrow my ipod and told him to put some 2pac albums in there, so he did but he also put everready, anghellic, and absolute power. So i get my ipod back the next day and im listenin n shit then i see the album cover for anghellic and was like what the fuck is this shit? The imagery got to me i thought it was some devil shit, and didnt bother listening to him. It had to have been in my ipod for months before i had it on shuffle and came upon a song called "come gangsta". I was blown away on how original and unique this song was and had to listen to the whole everready album. I think for a month all i listened to was Everready, i never got bored of it, and had to listen to more tech and only tech, shit it's never changed since then, 24/7 i gotta listen to tech, night and day. TECH N9NE!
I was sitting at my friend's house, and he popped in EverReady, which was the latest album at the time. I can't recall everything, but I just knew that the entire album was bitchin'. My favorite song on it was "My World" with Brotha Lynch and Dalima. I couldn't believe how original, and fast he was!!! Tech made me love midwestern hip-hop all over again.
Oh shit, the first time. Damn, it was during the Wicked Wonka Tour, years back. It was headlined by Bone Thugs n Harmony and ICP, and it had Killa Priest, Tech N9ne, and a couple of other cats there. I was at work and I remeber checking the mailbox for my department, and I saw this flyer in it about the Wicked Wonka tour, so I see Bone and they are the only groupl I recognized, well besides ICP, but they are the only group I listened to before, and I was feeling there music. So I decide to check it out. I pick my relative and he is a Bone fan, so fo course he wants to go, so we head to Oklahoma City, and we get our tickets and get in, and it's packed. We showed up kinda late so we missed like the opening acts. We walk in on Killa Priest, and after him was Tech, then Bone, then ICP. So I walk around and I get me a drink as I am half assed listening to the music playing, and I'm checking out the scene. Just then I happened to turn around a out of the corner of my eye, I see this dude with red spiked hair come bouncing out of the shadows. He bounces all the way to the end of the stage and stops and looks around. Then I hear a gun cock back, then he rapping over machine gun blasts, I immedeiately stop what I'm doing and head toward the stage. Then I hear TECH N9NE! And then two more guys coming walking out the shadows [Krizz and Kutt] and they start hyping shit up, and I look around and everyone is jumping and getting into it. I never seen anyone get the whole crowd this pumped, especially someone I didn't view as "famous," or "big." Just the way he flowed, so passionately yet so natural. Like the mic was an extension of his hand, like he was born to do it. I mean, he just jumped into song after song after song, and he just controlled the crowd and kept everyone wanting more. I never seen anyone do that before. Then his time was up and he thanked everyone and walked off the stage. i looked at my relative and he was just amazed, I could see it in his eyes. Right after that, Bone walked out [sans Bizzy] and started their set, but we left about halfway through their set because we got the show we wanted to see. I mean, you couldn't top a Tech N9ne show. I don't think it's possible. I seen everyone live from Li'l Wayne to Disturbed and nothing can top seeing Tech N9ne Live. And ever since i found out his name, I been to every concert he has in Oklahoma. It's just amazing.
the first time I heard Tech I was smokin down and a friend of mine put in a mix cd with Get Blowed on it , and ever since then for the last 4 years nothing has been in my cd player but strange music artist
The first time I heard Tech, I was drinking with a couple of friends and we were checking out the top rap stars on myspace, and Tech popped up. Heard Riotmaker, Night & Day, Caribou Lou and it was a rap, been a fan since.
Yo I was in 11th grade in Computer class. I went on the internet (while i was supposed to be working of course) and checked out Faygoluvers.net and they had a post about this dude called Tech N9ne and how he had his whole music library on his website for free. This is when he first joined the FTI movement. AND I was blown the fuck away by LETS GET FUCKED UP! hahaha and then I listened to HYDRO hahaha and I can just remember smiling and notting my head in the middle of class bumping this insanely fresh new music that I am now proud as fuck to be a fan of! Techniciaaaans!!
At my cousins house about 5 years ago when he told me to watch a video on his computer. He clicked on it and it was Tech N9ne/Kutty/Krizz and they were all lined up in front of a big crowd dressed in red. They performed "Einstein"...when I heard and witnessed Techs delivery/creativeness I was struck in awe...ever since then Ive followed Tech as a true fan, backing up everything he has done and supported him to the fullest!...All I ever listen to is Strange Music now...From the King Tech, to Big Krizz, Kutty the Chief, SS mainly...I cant stop feeling every bit of the messages these guys send with just the most talented rhymes, beats and everything great rappers intend to do...these guys got IT.
Much Love Technicians,

The first time I heard Tech N9ne music is when I was on a road trip and we were passing though K.C. and I think the song was Planet Rock. And I'm like what the f#$k is this. That was about back in the summer of 2001. After that it was on. I have been to every show in ST.Louis and also have brought my 3 sons to the shows. We own all the C.D.s to date and plan on more concerts. Hell I'm 40yrs old and one of the biggest Tech fans around.
Someone i knew threw all his cd's on my cd player (yes, CD player, before ipods) when he was in school. The song was stamina followed up by trauma. Been hooked since then. Lets see how many of yall gotta say everready.
